The NITON 800 Series is available with a choice of
excitation options:
- XLt - first portable x-ray tube based instrument in
a handheld, environmentally sealed package
- XL3t - 50 kV (maximum) miniaturized x-ray tube with
multiple primary filters
- XL3p - Second-generation patented Infiniton™
radioisotope source
The NITON 800 Series provides the fastest, most accurate
nondestructive analysis and grade identification available
in any handheld product. Add our unique Helium Purge Light
Element Analysis Package to extend the analysis range of the
analyzer to accurately quantify light elements such as
Magnesium, Aluminum and Silicon in alloy material.
Available with a full suite of accessories
— from stationary and
portable test stands, to telescoping extension handles for
accessing hard-to-reach components, the NITON combines the
performance of lab-grade XRF instrumentation with the ease
of use and convenience of a handheld analyzer.
The XL3's unique VIP™
color touch-screen display affords the user a clear view of
the screen at any angle, while providing a fast, convenient
means of data entry for storage of sample information and
